Hi, Reader,

Huge thanks to readers who came to my book release at Third Place Books on Tuesday. It was joyful to see so many faces and then hang out afterwards. Diana Ma is a wonderful conversation partner asking such good questions and bringing her own experiences to the dialogue.

Now, I’m on my way to South Bay for my book events on Saturday with Hicklebee’s in San Jose, CA and then to Linden Tree in Los Altos, CA.

Here’s the updated book events list with one correction and one add:

    • Hicklebee’s in San Jose, CA from 2:30-3:30 pm
    • Linden Tree Books in Los Altos, CA at 4:30 pm
  • Mother’s Day in a dual book event with Suma Subramaniam for A BINDI CAN BE at Brick and Mortar Books in Redmond, WA at 2:30 pm
  • June 20 at 5 pm at the Port Townsend Library with Faith Pray for her picture book FINDING GRATEFUL and Dori Hillestad Butler for her newest award winning KING AND KAYLA chapter book series
  • July 25 & 26 at LITapalooza and KIDLITapalooza with Anderson’s Bookshop in Napierville, IL. Registration is now OPEN!

And, then the BAM Festival in West Palm Beach, FL asked me to go. Of course, I had to say yes. Then a school and library in Lewiston, ME asked for an author visit. We were driving from Florida to Montreal to visit my son, so of course, I had to say yes. Then the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival in the United Arab Emirates asked me. The UAE! So of course I...
